THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM AT MADISON FIELDS
Unemployment or underemployment often stands in the way of a life of greater independence, self-worth, full participation and sense of purpose. The Vocational Training program affirms that all individuals have value to add and vital contributions to make to the building up of our communities and our world.
The mission of this program is to provide structured opportunities for adults with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities and other challenges to learn employable skills in agriculture.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain competency in a variety of areas in order to aide them in the discovery of their particular interests and skillset. These include animal care, grounds and maintenance, gardening, housekeeping, and more.
Our pilot program for agricultural vocational training began this Spring. We are currently accepting applications (see below) for enrollment this Summer. More details about the program will be forthcoming. If you are interested in learning more about this program, contact the program director using the contact sheet below.
