PROGRAM SUPPORT
Therapeutic Riding
Our riding program requires a dedicated group of horse & people loving volunteers. Please be sure to read the expectations specific to this rewarding experience in our volunteer manual. Volunteers are needed for:
- Side-walking
- Leading
- Horse grooming
- Stall cleaning
Agricultural Education
Our education program is perfect for friendly, engaging volunteers who love to learn and teach about animals, plants, the environment, and their interdependent relationship with human beings. Volunteers are needed to:
- Teach provided lessons
- Supervise activities
- Develop Curriculum
OFFICE SUPPORT
General
For volunteers who prefer to work indoors, we have general office tasks that we are grateful to receive help with. These include:
- Reception/Data entry/Filing
- Volunteer recruitment
- Guided farm tours
Technical
For those with office skills and specialized experience, we are also on the lookout for volunteers to help us with:
- Grant Writing
GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE
General
With 400-acres of land, there is no end to our list of to-do’s! For our volunteers who enjoy the outdoors and working with their hands, we can use your help in these areas:

Technical
Here at Madison Fields, we have lots of buildings, vehicles, and farm equipment to maintain. If you have technical expertise and would like to offer your knowledge or skills in any of the following areas, we would love extra help!
- Mechanical
- Plumbing
- Electrical
EVENT SUPPORT
General
Join our volunteer events support team to help us with special engagements throughout the year! We need help:
- Providing guests with general information
- Directing parking and foot traffic
- Event set-up and clean-up
Technical

HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER
1. Download and review the Madison Fields Volunteer Manual.
2. Submit the volunteer intake survey (see below).
3. Complete and submit volunteer paperwork.
4. Attend volunteer orientation (We will email you with dates).
