ABOUT THE GARDEN
In the spring of 2020, Locals Farm Market, Three Pears Productions, and Madison Fields joined forces to respond to increasing food insecurity in our community due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Garden at Madison Fields, nurtured by Locals Farm Market is a one-acre garden that fosters community through food donation, down-to-earth volunteer opportunities, agricultural education, and by supporting adults with autism and other differences in ability.

HOW WE HELP
- We donate 25 bags of produce each week to the Montgomery County Council for the Homeless (MCCH) and Stepping Stones Shelter.
- Additionally, we distribute local produce to the Upcounty Consolidation Hub at Black Rock Center for the Arts.
- We also offer buy-to-give programs including Hand Heart, which provides soaps and masks to local shelters.
SUPPORT THE GARDEN
VOLUNTEER
The Garden is run on the power of community volunteers.
Harvest and preparation of produce is scheduled twice weekly, Mondays and Thursdays, from 8am-12pm. All volunteers are required to register prior to participating.

BUY TO GIVE
You can support The Garden (and eat well) by purchasing produce from Locals Farm Market.
Additionally, Three Pears Productions offers buy-to-give packages for both masks and goat milk soap, made right here at Madison Fields!
DONATE
Your tax-deductible charitable contribution allows us to invest in the tools and infrastructure that will ensure the continued success of The Garden. Thank you for helping us help those in our community who are in need of support at this time.
