Walking Meditation
This 20 minute contemplative practice allows participants to deepen their connection with their body and the earth. Weather permitting, those who would like to participate will be guided down a tranquil wooded trail along the parameter of the farm immediately following their yoga practice with Brian Aubin.
In preparation for this silent walk, participants will be encouraged to be mindful of their breath and the sensations in the body. This simple practice can help decrease depression and pain as well as increase immune function and emotional reactivity.
Pro-Tip: Make a Day of it!
Come early or stay after your class to enjoy the tranquil environment. Plan a picnic! Bring a blanket or sit at one of our picnic tables under the trees.
