A BIG congratulations to Madison Fields’ PATH International Instructor Training Candidates: Taylor Polito and Aureanna Hakenson! Both Taylor and Aure recently completed the required PATH Intl. Registered Instructor Workshop and passed their teaching and riding evaluations!
Each trainee put in 25 teaching hours under a qualified mentor. So, there’s no doubt that these ladies have been working hard – teaching and learning the ins and outs of Therapeutic Riding at Madison Fields for the last year.
Learn More About our Instructors!
Taylor Polito (left) has been working at Madison Fields for the past year and is a vital member of our team. She manages the barn, coordinates volunteers, and helps run the Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies Program as the Equestrian Assistant. She has been filling all these responsibilities while working towards her certification. So of course, we anticipated that Taylor would return from her evaluation at High Hopes in Old Lyme, CT having earned her instructor certification, and we are proud of her accomplishment.
Aureanna Hakenson (right) has been volunteering at Madison Fields for the past 4 years. She began her instructor journey after proving to be a key member of Madison Fields’ Volunteer Team. Aure received her Instructor certification at Loudoun Therapeutic Riding in Leesburg, VA.
Finally, we would like to give a shout out to Maggie Jackson (middle), our Head Therapeutic Riding Instructor! She has been such an amazing mentor and friend to Taylor and Aure along their journey to become certified therapeutic riding instructors. Thank you Maggie for all of your hard work!
